East End Cellars - The Varietal Series Tastings...

6 October 2009

The artist formerly known as the 'Winter Solstice' and then the 'Annual Birthday Bash Tasting' has evolved again... In to three smaller, more focused tastings we shall now call: the 'Varietal Series Tastings'. We would love you to join us for our annual tasting(s), spread over three Saturdays in October and November being Saturday the 24th of October, Saturday the 7th and 21st of November. We will be looking at some Australia’s leading small wine producers and a large selection of imported wines too, all up there will be close to 100 wines on show at each tasting.

The tastings are as follows;

Saturday the 24th of October, 12-4pm - 'Varieties of Tradition'

This tasting will focus on five favourite and very noble varities being, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Featuring local and imported wines from the likes of S.C. Pannell, KT and the Falcon, Dr Loosen, Vietti and many more.

Saturday the 7th of November, 12-4pm - 'The Alternative Crew'

A glance at the new wave varieties coming to Australia by vine and bottle. Featuring local and imported wines from the likes of Some Young Punks, First Drop, Spinifex, Pichot and Emmerich Knoll with many more.

Saturday the 21st of November, 12-4pm - 'Champagne and Friends'

Speaks for itself, but with names like Pol Roger, Louis Roederer and many of the small Champagne Growers, this will certainly sell out fast.
