Kicking off the Year in style...
2 February 2010
We are a bit slow off the blocks but we are kicking off February with two fantastic events...
"Out of this World Tasting" - the "Naturalist" Roadshow take 2...
This Friday we begin our regular tastings with our our "Naturalist" friends and if you came last year to check this 'crew' out, you'd know it was one of our favourite gigs. Anyone who popped their head in last year will certainly remember the wines, the food, the experience and this year is set to be bigger. This "Out of the World Tasting" features four local wineries that are making serious waves in the wine world with their "natural" way of farming and practices. On show will be...
Lucy Margaux Vineyards
Lucy Margaux/Domaine Lucci are making some of the most poetic and intriguing wines in SA right now.
check out their wines.
KT and the Falcon
Riesling Queen and fashionista to boot, Kerri’s wines are pristine and pure, showing all how Clare vino can look…
check out their wines.
Bowe Lees
Finally getting a presence on the scene, this miniscule producer is one to watch. Definately not your mainstream style, these guys specialise in Nebbiolo, Arnies and Tannat.
check out their wines.
Shobbrook Wines
Tom Shobbrook’s wines have really stepped up another level with the latest releases. Another label you have to watch!
check out their wines.
So pop on through this Friday (5th) from 5pm to taste and meet this ‘eclectic’ bunch and see just where these young kids are going.
Gluttony - A decadent feast for the senses...
Speaking of big events, there is not much bigger here in Adelaide than the Fringe, and this year East End Cellars is very happy to be supporting a new sideshow: Gluttony. Gluttony will be two days and nights of outstanding food and wine on the fringe of the city in leafy Rymill Park. Picnic on the lawn and groove to the laid back sounds on offer while feasting on sumptuous food & wine from some of South Australia’s finest regional producers. A cool inner city oasis by day, a vibrant outdoor lounge bar by night. This will be a definite highlight of the Adelaide Fringe opening weekend, on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of February.
For further details and bookings please visit the Gluttony Website.
