We have recent Gourmet Traveller 'Winemaker of the Year' nominee Mac Forbes in town to show his new 2010 single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These brilliant wines will be matched with some of the most innovative food in Adelaide at the moment from Kenji Modern Japanese restaurant. Without doubt, this will be one scrumptious evening...

2009 Aramis 'White Label' Shiraz Cabernet @ $16

The definitive Aussie blend of Shiraz & Cabernet... Here we see an excellent mid-palate with lovely fruit sweetness and a dry finish. The Aramis is a slick and beautifully balanced dry red from the almighty ’09 vintage.

2009 Smidge 'Houdini' Shiraz @ $14

This is full throttle fruit, with plenty of bang-for-your-buck; sourced from an old vineyard in the north of the ‘Vale. Included is some classy oak management and, to be honest, this wine could sell for $25 plus. Better grab some before it goes…

2009 Gemtree 'Uncut' Shiraz @ $18

The Buttery's have performed some great vineyard management here to yield some worthy results. The finished product is a cracking McLaren red with bright, clean and high toned fruit. Lovely value…

2009 Paracombe Pinot Noir @ $18

Here’s a seductive little number; elements of cloves and nutmeg work well with a medium bodied palate with direct, round and alluring fruit. Bright and lifted yet still dark and imposing… Frankly, this is a steal

On the Thursday the 1st September from 6:30pm, please join us in the shop for a relaxed and informative masterclass with Helen Masters from Ata Rangi Wines.

Ata Rangi are one of the finest producers in Martinborough, let alone New Zealand so what better way to explore their wares than with the winemaker herself.
