East End Cellars is venturing into the arts and are very proud to be apart of the 2008 SALA Festival.
The "Wine Vessels" series celebrates a collaboration between artisan winemakers and three of Adelaides finest glass artists, Andrew Baldwin, Deb Jones and Nick Mount. The exhibition will pair the artist with the winemakers to design and produce editions of individual wine glasses. They will select particular wine styles and design a glass that suits the character of the wine, the wine maker and the glass maker. This exhibition will showcase the results of a close collaboration between two of the crafts for which this state is widely recognised and highly regarded. The wineries involved are Coriole Vineyards, Seppeltsfield and Ashton Hills.
We invite you all the attend the opening on August the 6th down Universal Lane Way right next to East End Cellars at 22-26 Vardon Avenue, Adelaide. The glasses will also be on display in the shop from the 6th to the 14th of August.
