S. C. Pannell Grenache Rosé (2007)

Made from 100% Grenache, grown in McLaren Vale, this would certainly rate up there with the best Rosé styles being produced in Australia at the moment. All too often we see Rosé that is too sweet, too full bodied or both. This one straddles the fine line between flavour and delicacy beautifully. It’s a very delicate pink, easy on the eye and not at all looking like raspberry cordial. It’s wonderfully fragrant, smelling like roses and Turkish delight with hints of candied citrus peel. It is fresh and lively in the mouth with lovely delicate flavours of red berries and rose water, finishing long and dry. Like all Pannell wines the structure and mouth-feel are first class. An excellent Rosé indeed. Stock limited.
