Spinifex Indigene (2008)

After a year in hiding the 'Indigene' comes back bigger and badder then ever. This year, a slight touch of Grenache helps to get the party started. Following the highly awarded 2006, it was always going to be a tough job to make this year's 'Indigene' but it continues down the dark and sinister path that makes this wine stand out. It drinks the way it has been constructed, with layers of fruit opening up the further you delve into the glass. The touch of Grenache brightens up the dark Mataro whilst the Shiraz keeps them all in line. This is seriously good booze!
