Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV (NV)

This family owned Champagne house (since 1776) has consistently produced one of the best NV “house” styles to come from the region. Meticulous care from the vineyard, (2/3rd’s of the fruit comes from the estate) through to the winemaking process. 3 years lees ageing ensures that the tradition of quality and style continues.

Louis Roederer may have changed their label but the wines true approach stays the same. An abundance of bready, yeasty characters jump out at you, whilst the palate is clear and controlled. A rich creamy texture is complimented with notes of croissants, honey and oyster shell.
